Since 1885 in Vienna, Austria where the company originated, Goldscheiders has been known for its fine statuary. Many of the pieces manufactured in the early 20th century have become collectors items today. In the 1950's they began to import from Europe and today have become a leading supplier for Catholic Gifts across the U.S.
The works of Ado Santini, Luciano Cazzola, Carmine Apolito and Ennio Furesi, currently four of the top sculptors in Italy today can be found here. Their items like many of those that we carry, exhibit the beauty, detail, quality and uniqueness for which Italy has been renowned for centuries. The Capodimonte tradition of "Italian art at its finest" is found in all of their pieces and many of those pieces can only be found in the U.S. here at Goldscheiders.
